The purpose of this guideline is to provide a framework for staff, sub-partners, interns,
volunteers, and consultants that aims to protect children and reduce the risk of child abuse or
exploitation by:
• Educating organization personnel and stakeholders of the importance of child safety
• Protecting against abuse and exploitation
• Ensuring appropriate interactions, policies, and protocol followed by relevant staff, sub
partners, interns, volunteers, and visitors with children.
