Project Overview:
The project built a sustainable response to HIV/AIDS prevention and control in Dien Bien, Lao Cai, and Hanoi by strengthening community-based HIV/AIDS services and service linkages. CCRD conducted formative research to better understand the needs of target populations and project areas, established and strengthened community-based HIV service networks and organizational capacity, and enhanced linkages between community services and Public Health & HIV-TB services in HIV/AIDS prevention and control. In addition, the project provided community-based HIV prevention and care services for key populations and people living with HIV, and implemented behavior change communication campaigns to reduce stigma and create an enabling environment for HIV services
