Project Overview:
CCRD proposed a study that would examine initiation of injection as a mode of administration in the use of illegal drugs and develop a profile of the negative medical consequences of the early social course of injection. Additionally, a substantive goal of this project is to assess the available research expertise in studying out-of-treatment populations in Vietnam and to target a training program that would contribute to capacity-building in relation to HIV research.
