Project Overview:
In this project, CCRD provided technical support to the Program Management Unit (PMU) in program planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination. We prioritized interventions addressing the most direct causes of maternal and child mortality, promoted strong ownership and genuine partnership of local authorities in the safe motherhood program, and coordinated local-level resources for maternal and child health services.
