CCRD possesses strong and well-established capacity in conducting large-scale research and policy analysis in the fields of public health and development domains, with depth in reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, health financing, and health systems strengthening. We have successfully designed and implemented national and regional studies, applying both quantitative and qualitative methodologies in line with international research standards.
CCRD’s research portfolio includes baseline and end-line surveys, formative research for intervention design, health equity analysis, national health report as well as large-scale program evaluations funded by bilateral and multilateral donors.
Additionally, CCRD’s research is not conducted for academic purposes alone, but also oriented toward policy influence and program improvement. Research findings have directly informed the development of national strategies, master plans, and policy reforms, including the National Safe Motherhood Master Plan, HIV/AIDS financing and sustainability frameworks, and policies aimed at improving access to health services for ethnic minorities and people living with HIV. CCRD has extensive experience in translating research evidence into policy briefs, technical reports, and advocacy products, and in engaging government stakeholders to ensure evidence uptake and practical application.
