Project Overview:
In this project, CCRD cooperated with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/ Center for Communication Programs (JHU/CCP) to produce a friendly package of video and facilitation guide to address the root causes of stigma and discrimination in communities where people are not sensitized to the appropriate behaviors and attitudes toward people living with HIV or possibly having HIV in their communities. The content was developed based on the findings of the situation in Thai Nguyen province and the social learning theories of Albert Bandura. The video was to be shown to demonstrate and model the behaviors required for providing non-stigmatizing behavior in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam.
