Project Overview:
The project helped make the National Assembly and its representatives more directly accessible to civil society organizations, people’s groups, and the Vietnamese public at large. It improved understanding, communication, trust, and collaboration between National Assembly members and civil society organizations and people’s groups, contributing to the safe development of the voice and capacity of CSOs and communities. In addition, CCRD supported CSOs and people’s groups to engage more effectively at local authority levels, strengthen participation in local governance, and build linkages with their National Assembly representatives, as well as other National Assembly members interested in key environmental and social issues.
