Climate Change and Health: Understanding the Impact on Vulnerable Communities

The Center for Community Health Research and Development (CCRD) is implementing the research Climate Change and the Health of Vietnamese Socially Marginalized Groups in collaboration with VinUniversity and the Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP).

The research explores the experiences and capacity of vulnerable communities and local health systems in responding to extreme weather events. Through engagement with communities and relevant stakeholders, the study focuses on turning these community insights into practical models for building sustainable adaptation and strengthening the readiness of health systems.

This collaboration marks an important step in CCRD’s continued efforts to advance community health and support disadvantaged populations. CCRD looks forward to working with VinUniversity and CCIHP throughout the research and generating stronger evidence that shapes future policy and practice.
